Medical University of South Carolina Academic Generalist/Health Services Research Fellowship Program in General Internal Medicine, General Pediatrics, and Family Medicine
Medical University of South Carolina is still accepting applications for positions in the Academic Generalist/Health Services Research Fellowship Program in General Internal Medicine, General Pediatrics, and Family Medicine for July 2015. Successful physician candidates interested in primary care research and faculty development will be BE/BC, and US citizenship or permanent resident status is required. Fellows receive training in research, professional development, and educational methods with coursework leading to a Master of Science in Clinical Research. The interdisciplinary program is implemented through the Divisions of General Pediatrics, General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, and Department of Family Medicine and coordinated with the MUSC Center for Health Disparities Research. The generalist divisions have active research efforts in comparative effectiveness research, practice-based research networks, health information technology, patient safety, and quality improvement. 10/17/14 University of Rochester – General Pediatric Fellowship
The program has been in place since 1967 and has trained a total of 112 fellows, many of whom have gone on to become national leaders in general pediatrics. The fellowship program is fully accredited by the Academic Pediatric Association and received the Academic Pediatric Association’s National Teaching Award in 1998.
