Floyd W. Denny Pediatric Society

Welcome!

The Floyd W. Denny Pediatric Society of the University of North Carolina ("Denny Society") was created in 1975 to support the education mission of the UNC pediatric residency program and to facilitate communication among members of the Society. It is named for the Chairman of the UNC Department of Pediatrics from 1960-1981. Membership is open to all graduates of the pediatric and med-peds residency programs at UNC, past and current members of the pediatric faculty, and friends of the Department.

The Denny Society Triennial Meeting honoring the career of Harvey Hamrick was held September 23-24, 2011.   About 80 people were in attendance for the CME/presentations, and over 275 guests celebrated with Harvey Hamrick at the Friday night social event.    If you have any pictures from the weekend that you would like to share, please email photos to wrightst@med.unc.edu.
